PORTLAND, Ore. – Police said they arrested two people at the Occupy Portland camp for outstanding warrants Saturday.

Officers arrested 28-year-old William Duke for a drug-related parole violation warrant, police said. Officers said they recognized him sitting on a bench in a park.

Saturday evening, officers arrested 34-year-old Tara Akridge for a parole violation related to possession of methamphetamine, police said. Akridge identified herself to police as the Occupy Portland “Resource Director,” according to police, and said she was currently living in camp.

When the officers returned to their patrol car from their walking beat, they found the side mirror of their car was broken off, police said. Police do not have any suspects.
