Lotteries Paid Early to an Armed Woman in Milwaukie, OR

From KGB News.

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Police were looking for a woman with a handgun who robbed a Milwaukie restaurant early Friday morning, and may have later hit an area Denny’s.

Just before 2 a.m. the woman entered the Shari’s Restaurant at 11030 SE Oak Street and demanded money from a lottery machine, according to Milwaukie Police Officer Ulli Neitch. An employee opened the machine and removed the cash from inside it.

“The victim employee was left terrified, but physically unharmed,” Neitch said.

Witnesses told police the suspect was wearing a military green parka with a hood that obscured her face. A large sum of cash was placed in her dark-colored book-bag. She was also described as talking in a deep voice.

She was last seen walking northbound, toward SE Oak Street.

A K-9 unit searched the area, but did not locate the suspect.

Four hours later, a woman wearing a black wig, black coat and pink pajama bottoms robbed a Denny’s in Clackamas.

Detectives said they were investigating similarities between this robbery and others in the area recently committed by female suspects.

A spokesman said each Shari’s Restaurant is extensively equipped with cameras and surveillance video will be released to Milwaukie police.
