KGW Has it “Both Ways” on the D12 West Coast Shutdown

KGW Poll on Support for West Coast Port Protest

KGW is polling viewers on t her reaction to Occupy Portland’s solidarity protest on the Port of Portland.

So far the numbers look pretty dismal. Out of 5500 or so votes:

Yes 14%
No 82%
Don’t Care 4%

Looks like the corporate media damage control is having it’s desired effect………

For example:
In yesterdays coverage-upage, I don’t know which station it was, but this station led with the fact that the Port shut down on their own, like it was just their decision, and then turned around and blamed the protesters for the lost wages.

Isn’t it great to have it both ways? And, it looks like the public is buying it.

Might be worth the effort to try and bump up the “Yes” numbers a bit.
