Welcome to the Calgary Anarchist Bookfair

The 2012 Calgary Anarchist Bookfair will take place in July this year. Details are still being finalized, but here’s what we’ve got so far:

FRIDAY, JULY 6
7pm-8pm: Keynote Speaker, Good Life Bike Shop (148 10 Street NW)
8pm-late: Meet & Greet, Good Life Bike Shop (148 10 Street NW)

SATURDAY, JULY 7
10am-6pm: Bookfair & Workshops, Old Y Centre (223 12 Ave SW)
8pm-late: Dance Party, Good Life Bike Shop (148 10 Street NW)

SUNDAY, JULY 8
10am-12pm: Pancake Breakfast, Old Y Centre (223 12 Ave SW)
10am-6pm: Bookfair & Workshops, Old Y Centre (223 12 Ave SW)

Callout for Vendors/Facilitators

The 2012 Calgary Anarchist Bookfair is looking for vendors and workshop facilitators. This year’s bookfair will run July 6-8, 2012. There will be food, dancing, and funtimez for everyone.

Anyone interested in tabling ‘zines, books, merch or resources should e-mail the organizing committee at anarchistbookfair@linuxmail.org with “Vending Request” in the subject field. Please include a little about yourself or your organization. Tables are free to individuals or groups with a non-heirarchical, anti-oppressive message.

Anyone with a good idea for a workshop, skillshare, reading or group activity should also contact us at anarchistbookfair@linuxmail, using “Workshop Request” in the subject field. Please include a little about yourself and your idea. Workshops will be scheduled with an eye towards our capacity in both time and space, as well as to limit thematic overlap.
