Portland: IWW Plumbing workshop [June 17]

via Portland IWW:

Skills not Bills series: PLUMBING

Have you ever had your toilet flush stop working and had to lift up the top and stick your hand in the water to get it to work? Had a sink or bathtub stopped up and had to try to get your lazy landlord to fix it, two weeks later, only to have your rent raised? Ever wanted to know how all the curvy piping under your sink works and how to take it apart to save your favorite ring that fell down the drain?

A professional IWW plumber will be teaching us and all of our friends the basics of plumbing this Sunday in the first installment of the new Skills not Bills series!

When: Sunday June 17th 12pm-2pm

Where: Inner SE (RSVP for exact location)

Who: Open to IWW members

RSVP: portlandiww@gmail.com

What to bring: plumber’s wrench and food for potluck afterwards!
