Two Overnight Arrests @ Occupy Portland

Portland police arrested one man and a teenager early Friday in connection with the Occupy Portland movement.

Nolan MacGregor, 21, and a 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal mischief, according to a Portland police bulletin.

Another citizen saw the two tagging the Pioneer Square Starbucks, several other locations and a marked Portland Police Bureau patrol car, the release said.

Tags said “Occppy Portland,” “Wall Street Loves No One,” “Perspective” and “Occupy.”

The two had aerosol paint, stencils and more than 100 Occupy Portland flyers on them, police said.

MacGregor was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and the teen was released to his parents.

The two arrests were the only significant activity in downtown Portland last night, the release said.
